Stomach issues over a year..need advice

I am a 23 year old female. I have been experiencing several gastro issues. SInce March 2011 I have been having hiccups after i eat and drink and sometimes out of no where. they are pretty consistent. They are often deep hiccups that can hurt and bring up reflux. I have also been having acid reflux since June 2011. Everything causes it, Tried tums and prevacid. Went to the doctor, did blood work, gallbladder ultrasound, an endoscopy with biopsy and put me on 40mg of Prilosec. The blood work all came back fine except tested positive for the H. Plyori infection, however i tested negative during the endoscopy. But i was still taking the priolsec before the endoscopy. What could be wrong with me. Can i still have the infection? During the endoscopy they found mild Gastritis. Doctors suggest i stay on Prilosec for another month (i dont think it helps, it does but doesn't) i go back in february some time.

i had the same problem for months. you also need to divert your attention on your reflux because it will get worse. try to eat fiber rich foods and drink water only.

Hi and welcome to the GERD forum.

H. Pylori is a difficult condition to get rid of, my father needed several rounds of antibiotics to get rid of it....are u on an antibiotic?

Once u know u r clear, u will want to take a probiotic to re-balance ur digestive track....

Make sure u r watching ur diet and lifestyle....and go back to ur Dr and ask about this.....
