mold cause gerd?

my neice is 6 months old, we found out that she has an extreme case of gerd. i was wondering if black, green and white mold can cause it. while in the care of her mother she had been fed the mold.. her mother wasnt cleaning the breast pump and vela there is the mold source.. also id like to ask if maybe toilet water could cause it aswell. see the mother wasnt as capable of taking care of her as we all thought.. she got lazy and pumped 2 oz of milk and then filled the rest with water.. we was catching on and stopped her from bringing water in with her and turning off the water when she pumped .. we even went to the extent of running the water so what was left in the pipes couldnt be used.. we never thought of the toilet.. but her "breast milk" would be coming out freezing cold and the bottle would be almost clear.. needless to say once we found out what was going on we stopped the "breast milk" and went to formula.. but the baby kept vomiting all the time.. we tried all different types of formula and nothing has helped.. so all in all i was wondering if the mold and toilet water that my niece ingested could cause the problems she was having.. because before the mom got lazy and the breast milk wasnt tainted the baby was doing fine.

I'm speechless. I too am really relieved that the child has been taken from the mother. Who feeds their baby toilet water? The child could indeed have an infection. But I am sure they will consider this when she goes to the specialist. There are tests to see what she has in her stomach. An infection could cause inflammation, which could cause things to not function correctly.

My daughter also has severe GERD along with laryngospasms. I can guarantee that hers was not caused by mold. What has been explained to me at the Children's Hospital is that her lower sphincter isn't matured is what caused it. I am sure that there may be issued that is caused by the mother, but I wouldn't think the GERD is.

i agree. the  grandmother is bringing her to a specialist in portland maine to see if it is what caused the gerd. and if it was what caused it we are going to cps and let them know what the biological mother did so she cant get custody of the baby. the mother is trying to say that she is going to get the child and well no one here wants her anywhere near the baby at all. its all rather sad that the mother has no maternal bone in her body.. she is a crap mother and im glad that the gram has custody... i was just wondering if anyone else knew if that would cause it.
