there going to look down inside me

there going to scope my insides out tuesday./.i never been put out b4..im apnea..what meds do they use?? they said it be a lite sleep..take doc only 20 min to look inside..mom had it done but cant rember..the nurse said some just get out of it,..some go out..they said if my Sat's drop they will bring me out with antidote....need input thanks

I had the scope done today.  Every dr is different, but mine used demerol for the general and a throat spray to numb the throat that tastes NASTY at first, but does improve.  LOL...  It really isn't bad and you will want to sleep all day afterward.

Good luck with your scope and don't be afraid. It isn't bad.  I don't remember anything from the time the tech put the bite guard in my mouth to the time I was sitting in the chair in recovery and the nurse was getting me a cup of water.

i bet its a good thing not to rember..just was wondering how long be tired afterwards

They use different meds depending on the doctor.  For me, they gave me versed, which went fine.  I woke up groggy and out of it but it all went fine.  I don't remember any of the procedure, which was a good thing.
