Sharp Pain After Gall Bladder Removal

I had my gall bladder removed two weeks ago.. but for the past week I have been having these super sharp burning sensations in the top center of my stomach (bottom of my sternum area). They come and go but man they hurt like crazy!! I'm also having a hard time taking a deep breathe, and woke up this morning with achy feeling lungs. I feel like I'm being a baby and that this is normal, but something doesn't feel right.

I had an ERCP done before my surgery to grab a lodged stone and I developed pancreatitis from that which kept me in the hospital an extra day. When they checked my levels the next morning they said my pancreas enzyme levels were going down so they felt comfortable discharging me. I never felt the pain while in the hospital and it's getting worse daily.

Has anyone else felt this and what did you do to help get the pain to go away? I'm close to going back to the ER. I plan to call the Doctor that did my surgery and go from there, I'm just hoping it doesn't get brushed off as nothing :(

Any info/help/advice would be greatly appreciated!

My 12 yr old daughter is going thru great pains and discomfort 5 months after she had her gallbladder removed, She called me from school telling me she had pain on her right side and it goes to her back, sometimes she felt like a gallgladder attack. After each pain flare her liver enzymes were extremely elevated.  Her Gastroenterologyst suggested an ERCP, but it was risky. No stones were found in her bile duct. So he suggested she may have ODI. After the ERCP she contracted pneumonia and was in the hospital for 8 days. She has missed so much school and now that she is back, sometimes she calls me and tells me she still gets pain on her right side. In the forums I found out she may have postcholecystectomy syndrome, so following the natural path, I found people taking  a supplement called "Jarrow Bile Acid Factors" and the reviews are very positive from people suffering this chronic illness. I will try the bile acid factors and see if this finally helps her feel less miserable. I wish you the best.

Hi I had my gallbladder removed 6 years ago and I wish I had good news for you. I have suffered these pains ever since. I've been told everything from it being nerve pain to scar tissue to its phantom pains. I've broke down and went to the ER on a couple of occasions but they have no answers. I have researched everything I could and never found a solution. if you have any luck please let me know.
