Normal test results for gallbladder

I recently was admitted to the hospital for severe abdominal and mid back pain.  Every blood test, CAT scan, and ultrasound was run and while it did show problems with my kidney results the doctor told me all the rest came back normal....especially my gallbladder which he assured me was fine.  Now here is where I have a problem.  I DON'T HAVE A GALLBLADDER! It was removed four years ago at that very hospital.

So how is it that my gallbladder results are normal???
