Bowel Issues?

I have been having intermittent chronic loose/floating stools and recently I have cut all soy, nuts, and sunflower out of my diet considering I have allergies to them and i have been taking a probiotic every other day and betaine hydrochloride with almost every meal and have been doing pretty well. Well recently I think I may have eaten a small amount of sunflower oil or soybean oil and I went to the bathroom this morning with looser floating stools. Eventually the stools sunk to the bottom, but then i noticed bubbles coming out of my stool and the bubble would go to the top of the water where it would create a slight white film on the water? what could this be?

I had the lap band 5years ago, but  lately I noticed some M&M like fat or oil bubbles in my stool. What could this be?

If this only happened when you may have eaten a small amount of sunflower oil or soybean oil when you are allergic to these, then it is unlikely that this is a fat malabsorption or a problem with your gallbladder.

sounds like fat malabsorbtion. Might be something with your gallbladder (reduced gall, no fat absorbtion). But loose stools, which float and leave films in a sign of fat malabsorbtion.

This is probably just a version of your diarrhea and I wouldn't worry about it unless it continues.
