Gall Bladder removed, having tons of problems.

I had my gall bladder removed a few years ago, and ever since then I've had chronic and horrible acidic, yellow diarrhea and can be in the bathroom for up to an hour. It's interfering in my life and is excruciating. It happens instantly after eating, and randomly throughout the day. It's often accompanied by extreme cramps. Doctors have performed multiple tests including a gastrointestinal scope and something about eating an egg laced with radioactive particles. No one can figure it out and it's becoming a literal pain in the butt.

Are you currently following a low fat diet? Many people have problems with diarrhea following GB surgery and a low fat diet can be of help. You may be 'dumping' bile in an unregulated manner - at times when there is no food to mix with and it can act like an irritant to the large intestine. If that that doesn't work, ask your doc to try a bile-binding resin such as questran to see if that will help. You'll have to titrate it to find out the best amount to use, but some find it can help. Be careful, though. It will absorb fat-soluble vitamins.
