Is this NEON orange oil like drops connected to my chronic gallbladder problem?

I am a 17 year old female who is waiting for a gallbladder removal. I have been having severe gallbladder attacks for the past 6 months. Last night I had a new symptom.  As I was having a bowel movement  I noticed that there was NEON orange oil like droplets floating on top of the water. I was just wondering is this connected at all with the gallbladder problem and should I contact my surgeon to let him know this happened? This only happened once (last night) and I am a little worried. Thank You

Hi CalGal,
Thank You so much for answering! I have already been tested for celiacs disease and Pancreaictitis and those were both fine. My HIDA scan showed that my gallbladder is functioning at 21%. I will call my surgeon and will let him know. I just diddn't know if the Neon orange oil could be gallbladder related. Thanks again

Sari, call the doc and let him know. Orange oil-like drops could possibly be related to your gallbladder, but the more typical problem that can result in fat malabsoprtion is either celiac issues or pancreatic problems. If your HIDA scan result indicated a 'hyperactive' gallbladder that resulted in pain, studies have shown hyperactivity can be a result of uncontrolled celiac disease.
