Malabsorption??

For several months now, most food I eat results in sometimes severe stomach cramps accompanied by rapid heartbeat, clammy skin and a very sick feeling until I have a bowel movement that is brown and yellow, especially when I wipe.  If I eat anything oily or greasy like fries, or even a ceasar salad and a small 1/2 sandwich, I'm in the bathroom sometimes within 5 minutes of beginning to eat.  If I don't "cushion" my stomach by eating something in the morning "safe" like dry toast, I will have the cramps if I eat, say, lunch as the first meal of the day.  The funny thing is, after I have the first episode, then I can eat anything after that without cramps.  I have been reading about malabsorption and it kind of fits me.  I am a Type II diabetic and my aunt died of pancreatic cancer 3 yrs. ago.  Thank you for your help.

Thank you both for your replies.  I plan to see my gastro rhis month for the upteenth time to discuss these symptoms.  All I get is pills.  Just yesterday I ate a yogurt in the morning which produced nothing until I had chinese rice and orange chicken and within 15 minutes I was in the bathroom, no cramps this time, just worked its way down and out.  My doc has never brought the subject of Crohns up so I will ask.

You should see a doctor and get some blood tests to see what is going on.
