ERCP-Stents

I have been having my stent changed out every 6 months, and now my Dr. says I will probably have to have it changed every 3 months. I'm concerned because I am just afraid that the duct will give out, or collapse. What would happen then?

The operation you speak of, is it extensive surgery? I have to find a way out of having the stent changed every 3 months. It's draining me, both physically and emotionally. I hear others talk about there test results and levels, and I don't have any of that info. I just feel like an idiot.

Sorry, restless, I'm not familiar with that term.

Restless, if the duct has a problem, you may have to consider an operation that would basically attach the liver directly to the small intestine.
