Extruciating Pain/Graphic Image

Hopefully someone here can tell me what's wrong with me.  I've had various spells of blood in the toilet for a few years now with no pain.  For the last two weeks, I've had excruciating pain in my rectum all the time but the pain is so intense when I defecate, that I almost can not even go.  It started to feel like something was pushing out of my rectum when I defecated so I checked it out.  Being a little scared about what I found, I decided to take a picture in the hopes that someone can tell me what this is and what I should do about it.  This is a highly embarrassing picture to post, but I feel like I have no other choice.

Thanks

This sounds like a good idea.  You needn't suffer like you are, and this way you can find out what it is and get some relief.  Good luck to you, and let us know how you do.

You're right.  I may end up going to the ER today as the pain is getting unbearable.

That's why you need the see a GI doctor.  You can't rely on lay people on this blog to diagnose this.
