Frequent bowel movements

For the last few months i have been experiencing more than normal bm's.  I can have from 1 to 5 .... Usually about 2 or 3, with 5 being less often.  This only occurs in the morning.  Sometimes as soon as i get up i feel like i need to go.  Other times its within 30 to 60 minutes.  My stools vary, sometimes they are normal sized but seem soft.  Other times there seem to be a lot of poorly formed stools. Usually the first bm is the most normal looking, with the subsequent ones being less formed.  I have had tests for parasites, celiac, bacteria, etc. all negative.  I don't have stomach cramps though some days I am bloated.  i have had diverticulitis in the past, but that has included stomach cramps.   This does not involve cramps.  I had a colonoscopy about 4.8 years ago at which time one small polyp was removed.  I do have an appt. with a gastro doc next week, but in the meantime, any ideas as to what is going on?  Thanks.

Try stopping dairy.  It sounds like a food sensitivity.  It could even be gluten, even if it's not Celiac disesae.
