Hello Amy6908,
About two years ago I had my gull bladder removed due to stones. I am so happy I did have the surgury. I feel much better since my gull bladder has been removed. Although I still have problem with acid reflux it is not as bad as before the surgury. I would consult with my doctor about other ways to get rid of the stone. However, I do think it is a good idea to consult other means before surgury.
Just to inform you, my surgury was done as a outpatient procedure. It took me about two to three weeks to recover. I am not one to recommend surgury first by no means. Good luck finding other means of possibly desolving the stones. I have heard of this being done. However, I am sorry to say I don't know what is used for this procedure.
I would ask at a hurb store befor surgury thats for sure!!
I had my gull blader removed, the stone was as big as a golf ball. There is a mixture of things you can drink to get rid of them but if they are to big it could make it worse. I remember that one of the things in the mixture was olive oil. I could ask my friend what all was in them but I am not sure if she is home this weekend
