Help. 14 yr old in need. Lower left abdominal pain.

Hi. Im a 14 yr old boy. Im very active and I go to school and good grades. Last month around July 25th 2009, i started experiencing lower left pain in ny stomach. It is very sharp pain. It is a little left and lower of my belly. I've had lots of tests, going to the emergency room a lot... I had a laproscopy and systoscopy. They took my appendix out but it still hurts. It would hurt for a few days then feel better then hurt again. On a scale to 1-10, the pain usually reaches 8-9 and Im screaming in pain. They did lots of blood tests and stuff that I dont know of. Please help me, I need to find a cure. Also, after I urinate, the pain becomes worse. It feels better when sitting up than lying down. By the way, i've had xray, ct scans, and enema things. Whenever I go to the emergency room, they give me morphine and my stomach feels better.  Does anyone have any answers?? I need your help badly.

My pain is left and lower of my belly. Its like a downward diagnol direction. About one inch in the downward diagnol direction... They took out the appendix because they said it comes with the "package" of laproscopy because I might get appendicitis later on in my life and it'll save me a surgery.

There are no GI conditions that run in my family. I dont have any other medical conditions.. My bowel looks darker (dark brown) in some areas and lighter brown in some areas. I can eat all the food im on a regular diet. When the pain is there, after i pee, the pain becomes worse.

Azun, can you give us a better landmark for exactly where you're experiencing the pain. Try coordinating from the bottom of the ribs, the bellybutton and the 'spiky' point of the hip (the ASIS).

Are there any GI conditions that run in your family? Do you have any other medical conditions? Any changes in bowel habits? Any foods you can or can't eat? Anything you've noticed that brings on the pain, or changes the pain?

Why take out the appendix if the pain is on the left?
