Also consider food intolerance/sensitivity issues. They can be a very real issue for many. Several of the bigger categories that seem to produce symptoms in individuals are: gluten (wheat, rye and barley), dairy, eggs, soy, and almonds. Gluten is more well-known because cause of it's tie-in to celiac disease. But there is also a newer category that is being termed non-celiac-gluten-sensitivity that can produce symptoms almost as severe as celiac disease without being full-blown celiac. And as strange as it may sound, dairy can also be a 'killer.'
It can be worth checking into if you can't find an answer with other testing.
Hi there!
Well, without a detailed clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of your symptoms. Possible causes that may need to be considered include stress/ anxiety/ depression, GI/ systemic infections/ inflammations, micronutrient deficiencies, malsorption syndromes, hormonal/ endocrine imbalance, neurological causes, metabolic issues etc. I would suggest getting this evaluated by an internist initially and depending on the cause diagnosed/ suspected, it can be managed accordingly or specialist care may be sought.
Hope this is helpful.
Take care!
