Incision site pain one year post sigmoid colectomy

I have a sigmoid colectomy one year ago. Multiple complications-it was attached to appendix and somehow my pancreas was damaged in the surgery causing pancreatitis. Ended up in the hospital for 4.5 weeks. No diverticulitis since but I still have pain at the location of the incisions. It is not just sitting but if anything touches that area or I rest a box or bag there or even lean against a counter it is still hideous pain. For obvious reasons I do not want to return to my surgeon. Just trying to see if this is normal.
