Scaring on pancreas

Scaring on pancreas due to an acute pancreatitis attack 5 years ago.  What can I expect as far as health of my pancreas

Interesting question. How did you find out you had scaring of your pancreas? Did you have some type of symptoms that made you test? I am not sure if one bout of acute pancreatitis would lead to scaring of a nature that would reduce function as it seems to usually be repeated episodes. https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/pancreatitis/symptoms-causes/syc-20360227  It's my understanding that sometimes in severe scaring cases they will do surgery or use nerve blocks to help. But more information would be beneficial for more discussion.
