Listeria?

Three weeks ago, my baby, a 21-month-old boy, drank pasteurized milk but it had expired several days ago and unfortunately we realized it later.
within the next 5 days of the incident he underwent a stool mayer test and a stool culture and no germs were found in either test.
We also did a blood test for listeria twice. these tests were negative too.
To date he has not shown any symptoms of infection from the incident.
Is there a case nevertheless to have listeria?
I ask because I read that the symptoms of this bacterium appear up to 2 months after infection in some cases. but we had 2 negative blood tests!
Does anyone know anything?
Thank you very much.

Hello and welcome to the forum. You sound like a fantastic mom!  Your baby is well cared for. With the testing that you have had done, It appears listeria is ruled out and there are no repercussions from ingesting the old milk.  I think you should rest easy at this point.  https://www.cdc.gov/listeria/symptoms.html  You do not report your child as having any of the symptoms.

Hello amd thank you for your kind words. No, he has no symptoms at all. Do you think that i have to wait 2 months or 70 days after the incidenr to exclude listeria totally?
