Mystery debilitating stomach pain

I'm asking for my son as I am at wits end.  We've had him to multiple Gastro Dr's and no one has been able to help.   He throws up 3-5x per week and is in the ER at least 1 / month with debilitating stomach pain.  He has had every test possible at this point to no conclusion.   Upper GI, Lower GI, Gallbladder dump tests, CT scans, sonagrams and blood work and they cannot come to a conclusion of what it is. When he goes to the ER the pain is so severe he is constantly screaming in pain.  So far all the ER Dr's do is more sonograms and give him morophine and send him home.  Today's episode he said he is ready to die and no one seems to wan to help him.   I'd take any help, advice or suggestions at this point.    We've looking into antianxiety meds; however, it is really hard to fathom that this amount of pain could truly be psychosomatic.
