Hi - any help or guidance will be greatly appreciated. I am a 49-year-old woman who is overweight. I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and diverticulosis. Recently my hemoglobin was tested at a low rate and I take Integra Plus every day; Vitamin D was a 7 so I'm back on VD 50K for another 12 weeks. I am exhausted all the time and extremely concerned with my bowel habits - black, tarry stools with lots of bleeding - bright red and clots. I've had an EGD and two colonoscopies and everything looks fine. Is it normal to bleed so much? I'm not talking about a little on the paper when I wipe - I'm taking bowl water turning black from the amount of blood and clots that are large. Are these typical symptoms of Vitamin D levels being low? Family doctor doesn't seem very concerned. Thanks.
