Please Can anyone tell me what this means in plain english?

I had my gallbladder taken out two weeks ago and got a copy of the pathology report but have not had my follow up appointment yet to hear what surgeon has to say, cant take the suspense of knowing what was wrong.

Report says:

Final DX: Chronic Cholecystitis with Focal Epithelial Adenomatous Hyperpasia, favor reactive, one reactive lymph node.

do I have cancer?

they would not have sent you the pathology report if it was cancer.  They would have call you ASAP.

In the gallbladder a focal epithelial adenomatous hyperplasia is suggested to be a benign pseudo-tumor with no chance for a malignancy.  One reactive lymph node means it's fighting infection in some area of the body. Not sure what favor reactive means..............
