Peel like substance in stool?

Today i noticed in my stool several pieces of a substance that looks like a peel. It was harder than a toilet paper and well formed, 1-2 cm. in lenght. It was colorless, but not very transparent.
I am concerned because yesterday i didn't ate anything that has "skin" on it - rice, meat, cereals.
I recall i ate an apple before 2 days, But i have 1-2 BM every day and i suppose the apple was gone away from my bowel a long time ago.
This piece tore apart like a paper sheet, nice and clean. Could it be an apple skin that didn't came out for 2 days ? No other sypthoms really present except my anxiety for a colon cancer etc.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there!

Well, without a detailed clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of the substance. possible causes that may need to be considered include dietary causes, GI infections/ inflammatory conditions/ parasitic infestations etc. Since this has been a single episode I would not suspect this to be anything to worry about. If there are repeated episodes or the development of additional symptoms, I would suggest getting this evaluated by a primary care physician or a gastroenterologist for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
