Actually, talked to a friend who is a Nuc Med Tech and he said the CCK test us really the Gold standard. Went and saw the PA at Stanford yesterday and she said they did the wrong test, should have been with CCK.
1st and 3rd times were done at the local Hospital, ate ice cream, test was normal.
Second test was done at a Radiology lab with CCK and showed a 18% ejection fraction.
I am not happy with this GI doctor and tired if trying to treat myself!! Now, he says he would consider redoing it but my insurance may not approve it!!!
The intake of any fatty substance like ice cream will provoke the release CCK in your body and it should give them a decent ejection fraction reading.
