Undigested Pills

Something alarming happened today. I took two allergy pills around 10:00pm. Around 12 pm I had a baowel movement. The stool looked... fluffy. Not diareah (-sp?) like, but spongy. There were two white things floating. When I looked closer I realized they were the allergy pills I took. It was Allegra D. Could this be the reason they haven't been working like they used to? I mean, they hardly looked like the outer coating was gone. Should I go to the doctor? Be alarmed? That was kinda freaky.

I have recenty made dramatic changed in my exercise and diet routine. I eat healthier and go to the gym a few tiimes a week. But I can't imagine how that would cause this...

Thank you in advance. I know this is a crazy question.

Oh. That's good to know. Allegra's fault and not my digestive systems! yay!

Thanks!

What stool doesn't have a bad smell? lol. I think I could say it was pretty nasty smelling yeah. More nasty than usual. I know Allegra just prevents symptoms. I want it to prevent them, and it hasn't been doing it as well as it used to. (My allergies get pretty terrible). The only thing I had eaten was subway. I eat subway pretty often, and I have never had that reaction before. I was worried about my stomach and such not breaking down the pill and not absorbing anything. It made me wonder if something isn't working properly ya know? Next I'll start passing whole pieces of food and berries. Maybe I am just being worried where no worries are due.

Allegra D doesn't heal anything, it only prevents symptoms of allergy, so there's no drama here. The reason for drugs been not absorbed - you probably just had a quickened peristalsis due to some minor food incident...Allegra itself may cause diarrhea as a side effect though.

The reason of concern would be, if this spongy stool will continue. Stool had a bad smell? Or you have just ingested a lot of fibers?
