What is wrong with my digestive track?

After drinking pretty hard this New Years eve, I have had yellowish soft stools. Its been six week now. It started as pretty bad yellow diarrhea for the first week and a half. Now its sold dull yellow with mucus. Im 24 years old and I'm very active and healthy. I drink maybe once a month.

Ive been to the doctors a few times. Ive had X-rays and had to turn in stool samples. All came back normal. My last appointment was two weeks ago. I go in again soon and if its not better by then my doctor will be referring me to a GI specialist.

I'm also in the process of joining the coastguard. Will this disqualify me from joining?

go see the GI specialist. no reason to wait. its a bile issue, so maybe gallbladder, liver, or pancreas. xray is probably the most pointless scan they could have run. abdominal ultrasound, mri, or cat scan would have made a lot more sense.
Dont worry yourself though, it could be nothing. hell, it could be you picked up a parasite or something like that. but go to the specialist. GP know next to nothing about the digestive system.
