Prozac is an anti-depressant, why are you taking it for pancreatitis?

I was on prozac for a couple years and I never had any problems with weight gain...there's always a risk for that side effect with antidepressants so it just depends on how your body responds...if you're unhappy with how the prozac works just talk to your doctor and ask about alternate meds...hope this helps
