Somebody Please Help!!!!

I am a 26 year old male...don't exercise much, I work forty hours a week. About a year ago, I had been taking caffeine pills for four months...I was taking more than was supposed to. I started having palpitations, and severe shortness of breath. Now, I feel like I have to burp a lot, but cant,..still get shortness of breath and palpitations. I don't know if this is a digestive problem or not, but it seems to get worse after eating. My doctor has done numerous tests, and he thinks that I have anxiety disorder, but every medication that I have been on has not helped me, and I feel like I am going to die....SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME....I AM SCARED TERRIBLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I am on Klonopin for anxiety right now, but it doesn't seem to be helping...it does run in my family, but I have been calm for a long time, and things just seem to be getting worse. These problems have been going on for about a year now, and the palpitations are getting worse..I've had tons of tests done with my cardiologist, and he says my heart is good.....don't know if I have a digestive problem or what.

short story, a year ago i thought i was dying from colon cancer.  tons of symptoms that looked bad.  after all the test shown i was fine i started calming down and all the symptoms started to phase out.  does anxiety run in your family?  it does in mine.  just try to relax and see if it helps in time.  when i was 24 i took too much caffeine and ephedrine and had real bad problems like you.ve explained all night.
