Within the past two weeks I have been having the following problems: feels like my tailbone is messed up some how when I walk, mucus-like substance around my stool, either constipated or diarrhea very bad, cramps, and a good bit of a clear discharge out of my anal. I would think that without the gallbladder fatty foods are harder to digest but you should tell your surgeon the issue your having and maybe get a colonoscopy to see if there is anything wrong.

Are you following a low fat diet? Many people find they can't digest fats as they did before GB surgery and a low fat diet may help.

The clear dischange is probably mucus. The GI tract will produce and release more if the lining of the GI tract is feeling 'challenged' by something. That 'something' could be due to unregulated bile passing through. It can cause diarrhea and massive cramping.
