spasm?

I have IBS and Gerd..  and anxiety.  I am treated for all 3 of these.  I get flare ups often but enjoy the moments I don't,,   I have period like cramps, gas , rumbling and it feels like a baby kicking in the right lower part of my stomach?  Very weird but not painful..  the gas can get painful, and the cramps are knawing...  I have had a abdominal ct a few months ago, been to the gyn for usual test and examination.  I had bloodwork.. all was good.  But I get the cramps, my anxiety goes up and the rest isn't pleasant.  My question to you, is these spasms caused by trapped gas, and the cramps too..

If the bowel is stretched or inflated with a fair amount of gas, it can cause spasms and cramps. A tubular 'bowel' has a 'set-point' for getting larger (or smaller). Part of the way the bowel functions is, when fecal or other material expands the bowel, it automatically responds by contracting in a very coordinated manner. If the bowel become 'over-full' for what ever reason, it can respond with spasms and cramps.
