undigested ffod

for about 3 years now,progressivly getting worse, i havnt been able to digest food  after i eat i will vomit totally undigested food it can take any where from 1 hour up to days afterward.it has like i said gradually gotten worse i have lost over 100 lbs this year i try to eat but the paifull stomach,bloat is unbearable  i typically can manage breads i usually eat english muffin at breakfast and feel like i just ate thanksgiving dinner  i take protonix and regland  i have 3 endoscopies,colonoscopy  upper g i  small bowels series  even had gall bladder removed  all to no avail  any help out there???

It's a fairly simple test. You eat/drink certain food that's been 'labeled' with a tracer and then they measure how long it takes for the food to empty from the stomach. They'll either do it at the hospital or at an outpatient facility that has the equipment to do it. Talk to your doc about it.

my dr doesnt seem that its a problem   they worry more about me being aniemic then my throwing up  i will have to suggest to them  do they do this at the hospital?  how long does it? take is it painful? is thisa common test?  im anemic because i dont hold food duh is what i like to tell them!!!!!

I would assume they have done - or suggested? - a gastric emptying scan to check for gastroparesis (delayed gastric emptying)?
