Naegleria Fawleri

On past Friday,4 days ago, i was gargling tap water (i put a little amount of salt and gargle) and as i was having my head lean back some water dripped from the cavities tha communicate through our throats, mouth and nasal cavities to my nose and you know i had the feeling of a running nose but it was the little water that went to my nose from my throat while gargling. Since then i am so scared of the possibility to contract Naegleria Fawleri... Is there any danger from that? Also 2 days now i feel my head and eyes heavy from time to time and have a slight headache which sometimes is more like a migraine behind my eyes. Most of times when i drink a painkiller it goes away but today i woke up fine and during the day while i was at my work a headache kicked in, more like a heavy head and behind the eyes and i feel like i have chills from time to time like when you are tired. My anxiety levels are throught the roof, what do you suggest to do???? Is my fear logic and real? If i didnt had any symptoms like that i would think more logical but now i cant and i am very afraid. Please your answers will help me a lot

No. You can't get it in tap water it is chlorinated and kills the parasite, They monitor for it as well. It is really rare to start with so I wouldn't worry. It has only been seen in contamined water. Have you ever been tested for having migraines or other neurologic problems? Do you have  a fever? For the migraine see a neurologist they can do an electroencephalogram or EEG to see if you have them. If you have no fever you most likely don't have any infection. 99 degrees F does not count either. Some of these symptoms sound like anxiety, you can get chills from anxiety as well or ever a migraine symptom.
