The stomach pain and bleeding may all be a result of your NSAID use. You need to see a MD and have it evaluated. The loss of a little blood over time can also make you anemic and tired feeling. Please don't put it off, as it will cost you more down the road.
Hi mel,
Using a lot of NSAID pain killers such as ibuprofen increases the acidity in the stomach which is why they should usually be taken with food so that there is something there to help protect the stomach lining when the acidity increases. Over time an increased acidity in the stomach will damage the mucus layer that protects the stomach linig allowing the acid to get through and eat at the stomach lining this is called a stomach ulcer... the stomach ulcer is bleeding and this is why you have blood in your stools, if you do not get this treated ASAP there is a risk of ulcer perforation which is very serious.
Please get a medical assessment as soon as you possibly can, in the meantime try not to use NSAIDS and try using some ant acid to reduce the acidity in your stomach which may help relieve some of the pain in your stomach and slightly reduce the irritation to the stomach ulcer.
Good Luck, regards, Dee.
What this could be is something very serious. My advice would be to seek medical attention immediately. Blood in your urine and stool can be a sign of something going wrong and the sooner you have it checked the better!
This does not sound like something you want to put off.
Hope that helps, be safe!
