Discharge in early pregnancy?

Ok so ive read a lot about in early pregnancy you can have an increase in vaginal discharge. My fiance and i have been trying just over a year now for a baby. I was due for my period 2 days ago, and mine is like clockwork, never late, never early, every 26 days. Yesterday i had a few sharp pains in my lower right side but nothing like what my menstrual cramps are. They werent cramps it was just a sharp pain and it only happened a few times. Again today it happened but again nothing like menstrual cramps. My question is about discharge though. I track my cervical fluid every month as well as my temperatures so i know wen im ovulating. I already ovulated this month obviously and every month before my period i have very thick creamy discharge but its never a lot. Yesterday and today though i am having a HUGE amount of eggwhite cervical fluid and this has necer happened except for when im ovulating and i obviously wouldnt be ovulating now. So im very confused as i said i never have eggwhite at this point and i always have my period by this point. Its A LOT, i keep changing my underwear cause its all over. Yes i do know the only way to know if im pregnant is to test so please i dont need smartas s remarks that some people have, im not stupid i know i have to test. My question is not f im pregnant my question is has anyone had eggwhite cervical fluid before they found out they were pregnant or has anyone had eggwhite cervical fluid in early/any time of pregnany? Thanks for ur answers in adavnce

Brill.  No doubt you have a lot or preparations and organising to do for your wedding.

When you see the doctor at your next appointment, ask him if you could send you for a ultrasound scan to check for polycystic ovaries or fibroids to see why you are missing periods.  Has the doctor done a blood test to check your hormone levels?  If not that may be useful.

I trust you are eating well (healthy diet) and drinking water so as not to get dehydrated.

I do know that if you are anaemic that can mess up periods, you can either miss or have heavy bleeds.

Hope you find out soon why you are not ovulating every month, so that it can be sorted out soon so that you can get pregnant.

Best wishes

Yes! (: august 16th, im so excited! And my doctor never said anything about polycistic but i have been charting and he said from my temperatures that there have been months that i will have my temp rise which is where i ovulate but then there are months where literally every other day its a huge dip or huge rise and there no ovulation bc i dont get my period. Its been very hard tracking bc its never the same every month so i never know if i will have a temp rise or not so we cant really count the days andd say last couple months was here so we need to try then :( its just really hard. We both love kids n we want a few like 3 or 4. I will deff as my doctor though about the polycistic. Im supposed to see him for my yearly exam in 3 weeks anyways.

With you not ovulating every month, am I right in saying that you have polycystic ovaries?

My daughter has polycystic ovaries and misses menstrual cycles for months.  Has had pregnancy tests which were negative.  Her doctor told her that if she wants to conceive they will be able to help.  But she is not bothered either way (she is 33) as she is very career orientated.

Have you got a date set for a wedding yet?

Hope all goes well for you and your fiancé.

Best wishes.

Thanks for ur answer (: and yes i have been charting as well as i have seen a doctor. I have problems with my ovaries and do not always ovulate or there have been 2 or 3 months i believe that i actually ovulated extremely late like 3-4 days before i got my period both times. He said at that point there wasnt enough tome for an egg to implant if it was even fertilized. I am able to start treatments in 5 months as my doctor and insurance company will not approve me until we have been trying for a year and half. But as i said thank u so much for ur input and i will keep u posted, im keeping my fingers crossed and hopefully soon (:

I you desire to have a baby, I wish you luck and all the best.

Whilst you have been trying for over a year now.  I presume you are charting your monthly cycle and have found your most fertile days.
Try and relax and unwind.  Most couples once they relax and have an evening with wine, get pregnant.

In my case I got pregnant very quickly with my first child without trying.  With the second child when I was planning to conceive nothing happened for months.  Once we stopped bothering, Bingo!

Make sure you are eating healthily with no junk food and that you are not anaemic.

It may be worth you seeing your doctor to make sure everything is OK with you as  have not conceived in a year of trying.

It would also be worth your fiancé getting checked out.  Sometimes men have a low sperm count.

With best wishes.

Although a clear cervical fluid is normal, having a creamy discharge is not.

I would suggest that you see your doctor for a swab test to make sure that this is not Thrush or any other vaginal problem.  If it is found that your discharge is not normal, both you and your fiancé will need to be treated at the same time, otherwise you will be passing things back and forth to each other.

The sharp pain you experienced may also be from a water infection, so it would be worth having a urine sample tested for Cystitis.

Personally, I did not experience any discharge in pregnancy.
But with one pregnancy, I did have a pink show one month, which was a threatened miscarriage and I miscarried the following month.

Best wishes
