bloodwork

i go every 3 to 6 months for bloodwork due to having thyroid disease. my last bloodwork done in april was fine. i went this past week to ck to see if i had a bladder infection and i am really tired all the time . my vitamin d level was very low. doc put me on 50000 mg of iron once a week. but my htc count was at 50. normal is 37-47 my doc said. and i had an elevated white count. she sent me to a hemotologist .  he took lood work for my bone marrow but didnt seem so concerned. neither did my regular md.  he said i might have to have a bone marrow biopsy. i am really scared. sorry. with these readings of my read and white blood cells. do u think there is a major problem?  i do not drink but i smoke a few cigarettes a day.. i am almost at the quitting point. can you ease my mind? or should i worry? thank you

I to have thyroid disease. Its been a few years since I was diagnosed. They also did an ultrasound of my thyroid and found a cyst. They don't seem to be to worried and the blood tests are just part of it. I to feel like crap sometimes and also have hair loss from this one of many symptoms. I just wanted you to know doctors seem to be vey cautious with this, but you may have a simple infection that could cause the white count to be up. Last week I had some tests for liver and heart. It's scary Im only 47 and lost my husband 7 yrs. ago, so I feel I have to stay healthy for my kids. Well I worried I was done for. One of the techs. made some comments that got my mind working overtime. Long story short 3 weeks of freaking for nothing!! Just wanna say stay positive until you have all the facts. It's usually nothing. Im sure you'll be fine, but I'll put a prayer out for you anyways. Take care God bless!!!!
