Partially yellow eyes

Hi there,

My Fiance' noticed today that my eyes are yellow on the insides of my eyes, you can't see it looking straight only when I move my eyes to the side.

there is no irritation and my vision is normal.

I am a 24yr old Australian male living in New Zealand, 170cm, 102kg.
I have had a recent change in diet, trying to lose weight so have cut a lot of sugar out, and have been eating lesser portions, more meat and vegetables as well as fasting.
I don't know if that would contribute but just want to give as much information as possible.

Could also be due to lack of sleep due to full-time study, getting married in less than a month, and other commitments.

thankyou

I agree with the above posters, don't let this continue on, see your physician to rule out anything serious.

not to frighten you, but you can have anything from a gene mutation that causes yellowing of the sclera that could be harmless (Gilberts disease), or something much much more serious. GO SEE A DOCTOR

It is impossible to make a diagnosis over the internet. Jaundice or yellow area in the eye are commonly caused by cirrhoses of the liver, hepatitis, pancreatic disease or gallbladder issues. There are other possibilities.

This is a yellow flag meaning you require an in-person evaluation by a physician. This isn't an ER 911 call, but something that should be addressed in the near future.
