What could this be?

I was taking a shower notice a felt a lump near my anus, want to know what it is doesn't bleed or hurt unless I really push on it just feels weird. Don't feel it other than if I start looking for it.

Maybe it is a swollen vein, like a varicose vein - although that's not the most common area for them to show up. It could also be a boil, which can become very painful and would need to be lanced by your physician. There are so many different types of bumps that can appear. If it doesn't go away soon or if it gets worse, see your doctor.

Maybe it's a hernia?  I am no expert, that's for sure but a weird bump sticking out could be just that.  My husband has one near his rib cage that he acquired while cutting up a tree with an axe (not sure why he was trying to be Paul Bunyan).  Anyway, if it starts to hurt more, I'd make a doctor's appointment to get it checked out, especially due to the location.

Otherwise, the only other thing I can think of is like an ingrown hair or pimple.  Not to get too personal but if you shave near where this bump is, those areas are easily irritated so maybe it is that and it will go away after a few days or so.

It's probably a hemorrhoid. They don't always bleed and they can be painless.
