Hello~It is highly doubtful that you could contract it this way, the cut would have had to been very deep and even then, it may not cause it.
I would keep watch on it, and if it gets worse or starts to hurt, then contact your GP .
This is an extremely unlikely scenario. Small amounts of liquid entering through a cut that was not deep enough to require stitches does not offer a sufficient pathway for the bacteria to enter your bloodstream. Otherwise, we would see people with sepsis all the time following minor cuts or scrapes, as various types of bacteria exist everywhere.
If it gets red or swollen, you may have a localized infection which can, in most cases, be eliminated by the use of over-the-counter antibacterial creams. Systemic infection is not a concern in this case.
