Constant pressure in upper abdomen. Gas, ibs, or something serious?

From the time i wake up till i go to sleep. I have a constant pressure in my upper abdomen. Sometimes it can be gnawing and mild. The pressue is Kinda where my stomach would meet my esphogus. I feel bloated most times and have pressure in center of chest and throat. Pressure feels like i need to burp but i cant. I have an ultrasound tomorrow on my stomach and an xray on my chest as well as bloodwork. Im so nervouse something terribly might be wrong. Im 25 now and been having this off and on since 17. I had ekg done before with nothing wrong. Anyone have the same feeling?

I was going to say I thought it may be gerd as that was what I thought I had. I can't explain your other issues although it could be down to the stress of it all as I wouldn't be surprised if it was causing you stress going through all this. Good luck and keep me updated :).

I get palpitations also. Not sure if its just my anxiety. Right now pressure is middle chest on both sides of sternum. Mild pressure with tightness and an itchy feeling.

Sound similar to me as I recently was diagnosed with IBS and I am 19. It could be something else, however I doubt it is anything to worry about and  I would not worry because you're going in the right direction to getting it checked. For now I especially wouldn't worry as it may make you feel twice as worse.
