Deep Cuts

I cut my finger last night.  I can see how deep it is.  The finger bled and it only hurt when it first happen but today its okay.  I ran water over it but nothing else and I didnt wear a bandage over it.  Should I be concerned that the wound  is very much open?  while looking on the side of the finger, i can clearly see the depth of the wound.  Should I be concerned?

thank you.  I was concerned that it was healing open and not closing.  I will keep it clean. Again, thank you.

If it has stopped bleeding - it should be okay.... thing is you need to keep it clean....Maybe get some anti septic cream.....and leave it open to dry a little.... If it were still bleeding - maybe stitches would be required
