Dealing with ibs-c

I had a large thread going sometime back, well back from the doc today and it's almost clear it's ibs-c.  I displayed the symptoms of ibs-c, constipation, bloating, nausea, overfullness.  He has given me a new med called linzess.  It produced a sort of bowel movement. One mixed solid and watery, 2 watery and a small solid.  I am still not able to eat large meals today but I feel ok

I know changing my diet is a start, is there another method to curb the symptoms and avoid feeling ill ?

Spasmo-canulase tablets (start with 1x3/day for 2 weeks, thereafter 1/day in the morning) is very good for your IBS symptoms.
