fever burns

Hi my name is Christina i'm 21 years old and for the last 48 hours my fever has been at 103.8 and higher on and off. I haven't been able to receive any medical help and though there are free clinics here they charge or suggest you go to the hospital, I am not financially suitable for either. My fever has finally started to recede, however a rash formed on my body my second day in, it began to burn horribly at the feel of any heat, these burns though smaller now are still there and still hurt is there anything I can do?

This discussion is related to burns from fever?.

There are hospital that can not deny you service if it gets too bad.  We have fund raisers for ours (St Francis) to help those that are in positions such as yourself.  Someday you can pay it forward when you are able.

This sounds like Scarletina a strep infection.  Only antibiotics can take care of it, unfortunately.  - If you have severe pain with a localized rash (only in one area) it could be shingles caused by the chicken pox virus. - A bath with baking soda could help some.
