Hello~I am sorry you are going through so much emotional misery, I can relate.
A lot of your symptoms sound like anxiety, I have some of them, and I know the more uptight I get about certain symptoms, the worse they become. I have seen doctors, etc and they tell me I am fine, but, I still get upset, so, I can relate.
I would see your PCP, go over everything with him/her and then if you are told you are fine, really try to believe the doctor. Focusing on your worries will only engrave them more in your mind and it will be a vicious circle for you.
I also dont have any tats, I read that Hep C is not sexually transmitted, at least it doesn't happen too often. And I got my Hep A and Hep B 3-dose vaccines completed just last year, only 18 :( I just feel so nervous and scared, run of the mill tests tomorrow. :(
Hello all, much thanks for the answers! I know I was too focused on the transmission of the stds, however, I tested out negative to all except I never tested for syphillis, or herpes and hep based on advice from my counselor because I didnt have anything else, (neg. For HIV, Chlamydia and gonorrhea) past window period of course. I do not have anything significant in my history, other than the fact that there is presence of fatty liver on both sides of my family. I do not do drugs, drink, or smoke what so ever. And also, this was my first sexual act :( I was a virgin before this. Im only taking naproxen as an anti-inflammatory due to the pericarditis, I know that this can elevate enzymes but I was not prescribed for it before the bloodwork. I have no symptoms whatsoever other than the ones listed above, skin and eye color normal. I appreciate the answer nut do not think it'd Lyme, and ive tried meditation just not working lol. Thanks guys, its greatly appreciated. :)
You are extremely focused on STDs. It is good to take precautions, but if you fail to, have the tests, and if negative, move on.
Elevated labs are very complex. History needs to be taken into account. We dont know how much you drink, smoke, take any prescription drugs, etc. Is your skin yellow? Eyes? Do you have tattoos? More questions than answers.
You need to see a Lyme literate doctor. Given your symptoms this is very likely the cause. We have lived with Lyme for years in my family and trust me when I say I know what you are going through. Go to www.underourskin.com or www.ILADS.com for more info.
The first and most important thing is to listen to your doctor! then the next is to straighten your head out! Try doing some meditation
