It wouldn’t hurt to get adrenal hormones tested, just to ease your mind but it’s unlikely the nodule will have much effect on them. I have multiple bi-lateral (both adrenal glands) adrenal adenoids and although I get a CT periodically (every couple of years), they haven’t changed since they were found. The latest CT was good again and they said I don’t need to get them imaged again, though I’m sure I will since I also have bi-lateral kidney cysts that have to be checked periodically, as well.
All of that said - if you feel like your cortisol might be high, it’s more likely that stress is causing it than the adrenal nodule.
Hello~For peace of mind, I would ask for a blood panel that tests your adrenal hormones, but I doubt if there is anything wrong, you doctor would have done more tests if he/she thought they were warranted.
