Cloth fell out 10 days after a palate surgery
Hi, I had palate surgery 10 days ago, for the extraction of the canine (I am 32). My jaw is very small and they had to remove the tooth, and the surgery was not easy so they had to make a big cut. The recovery went well and yesterday the dentist on the advice of surgeon removed the strings.
However, today, 10 days after the surgery, the blood clot previously formed on the wound fell out partially (clinging on a few threads only). My Dr. was not available so I returned the clot with my tongue but I got really afraid if that is normal. Being that it is weekend and I will be able to reach my doctor only on Monday I would really need some help with what to do and if I should be worried? Thank you so much!
