4th generation hiv test accuracy

Hi!

I have tested two times for HIV. At 14 days and at 27 days. I miss calculated the days and thats why I got tested at 27 days after exposure. Both tests were negative. Can i trust my negative result at 27 days or do I need further testing?

Dr Hook and Dr HHH have said that a 4th gen test past 4 weeks, this is what Dr Hook has said about various tests on ask the expert:
"All 3rd generation tests for HIV including the INSTI finger stick test are antibody tests which must perform similarly to receive approval to be sold. This is the case in the U,S., the U.K. and throughout most of the world.  3rd generation HIV antibody tests detect about 90% of recent infections at 4 weeks, 95% at 6 weeks and 99+% of infections at 8 weeks.  4th generation combination HIV antigen/antibody tests provide completely reliable, conclusive tests at 4 weeks. The risk was vaginal intercourse with normal girl from europe. So maybe pretty low risk.. Both tests were 4th generation antibody + antigen laboratory test, (not rapid).
U shouldn't worry dude.... The window period of 4th gen test is 4 weeks to 12 weeks.. That being said ur test at 27 days is a  good indication of ur  HIV status..... Everyone here will recommend u to take another test post 12 weeks ... And that would be definitive and conclusive
