Introduce my name Robi, and I live in Indonesia. My English not so good.
Dear Doc,
about 2 months ago, the exact date of January 15, 2010 I conducted an oral sex with a prostitute in which I as the insertive partner in insert my penis into the mouth of the sex workers. that while I do not see any blood, and I asked about the oral health of sex workers, and he said that he will not be hurt teeth or gums.
I am very sorry for my actions and felt very guilty with my family and my girlfriend, because I really love them. after the exposure was, I was browsing on the internet and found the possibility of HIV infection, although it was said to be very small with a ratio of 1: 20,000.
after that I really became scared and I did a test with the following results:
1. in 3 weeks I have the test and the results Non Reactive 0.254
2. at 5 weeks after exposure I was able to persuade a sex worker to perform the tests and the results turned out he was also non-reactive 0.22
3. at 52 days after exposure I go back to test and the results returned by non-reactive 0.28
ranging from 3 weeks I have experienced some symptoms resembling acute hiv what I read from the internet, the more I read here I am getting scared. some of the symptoms include a flu that until now there was little, sore throat that had healed, and now my throat is very uncomfortable and itchy. no headache, fever, rash and weight loss. but I feel anxious.
My question is:
1. whether the test results after 7 weeks can count on this from my case? (I do not know the methods used, in the report there are only non-reactive HIV ANTI-0.28)
2. Do I need to take the test again in 3 months?
3. whether there is the possibility that a sex worker during the window period of 5 weeks after exposure with me?
4. Is there a case that has ever happened hiv transmission through insertive partner whose penis diransang the blow job?
5. Are signs of flu and sore throat I have a relationship with HIV or just an anxiety?
I really hope the doctor can answer immediately. thanks.
