Accident with a Syringe

We were playing with a freshly opened syringe at home with my friend. He mistakenly pricked himself with it and handed it over to me. While I was taking it off his hands I mistakenly pricked myself too. This got me extremely worried as I don't know his HIV status.

There clearly was blood on the needle from him before I pricked myself seconds after his incident. Since I pricked myself with the same needle seconds after him, and where I pricked myself also started bleeding I'm extremely worried our bloods mixed :( Assuming he has HIV, will this put me under risk of HIV?

I searched similar topics on the board archives, yet I couldn't find an exact answer to my question.

Also I had a similar case - where I was involved in a syringe accident on a movie set - and Teak (he is the best guy on the boards) told me I was not under a risk.

I remember reading about someone here on the boards having a similar style (if not the same) accident and they guys on the boards told him not to worry about it.
