Hi there, I went to a HIV free test center 1 week ago to do test. My event was 2 years and 3 months ago when I had sex with a SW and during this period I never have had sexual activity. So when I arrived there, the consultant said me there are no rapid test and you should do antibody test in adjacent lab. When I went to the lab there are some people before me who wanted to test. I was waiting for my turn so that gotten in. when I went in, there was only one woman which took blood sample and had in her hand a needle already. She called one another person to get in for sampling at the same time after me. Then she putted the needle on the messy and disgusting table and took the syringe and attached it to the needle and sucked my blood. Now 1 week past and my result came back negative for HIV antibody, HBS antigen and VDRL (all were negative) but I’m very nervous and anxious because of the needle. Is it possible that she used the shared needle? Did the needle contaminated with HIV? Does HIV go through in this way? I remind that syringe was clean and I didn’t see any blood in it but I’m afraid of needle in her hand. Is it possible the needle was infected when it was on the table? Every day many people go there for test and maybe some of them be positive. I know my test result is conclusive after this time but I’m afraid of the needle of sampling. Do I need to another test? Am I in risk of HIV? Please answer me, thank you so much
