From what you describe, you were not at risk. The mouth is a very hostile environment for HIV. There are enzymes in saliva that render the virus unable to infect. The reported case to the CDC is rather suspect. There were other factors involved that were more likely the cause of transmission. Just some food for thought: If deep kissing were to be a risk and with all the kissing going on in the world today, HIV would have wiped out the human race a long time ago. There has NEVER been a clear documented case of HIV being transmitted via kissing, deep or not, and you will not be the first. Stay safe!
