The C-line is designed to ensure enough sample was added to the device AND it was added properly. When you add a sample to the device, it travels up the test strip and proteins from the sample come into contact with proteins on the strip of the pad (giving you the line). If you see a C-line, that means you have added enough sample. If you had not added enough sample, or if it had been added incorrectly, then no C line would be visible. I hope this reassures you.
No, I had the test at a clinic. I tested negative, but I am paranoid that perhaps I did not swab properly and added enough specimen to the strip.
But it seems the Control feature of the testing device reacts as long as there is enough specimen ( thus showing a line ). If no specimen is added, or something is wrong with it, I am assuming no line would show, which would indicate an invalid test.
Do you have a home test of oraquick advanced test?
if you do..can you tell me how you bought it? I wanna buy some!!
it seems to you have home test
I am trying to send you a coment. Not sure if I am doing it right. Did you get this message?
C line no T negative
no C or T invalid
C and T present positive.
If there wasn't enough, it would be invalid with no lines. There has to be enough specimen to travel up to the C line.
